The Government Affairs Committee is dedicated to being of beneficial service to the local community regarding scientific and technical issues and assisting legislators in sound policy decisions from an engineering perspective. We track local and state legislation and regulatory procedures of importance to civil engineers; communicate with legislators, citizens, and engineers; are available as a technical resource; are involved in civic affairs, and work with local media. We are committed to being the regional authority on planning, designing, constructing and maintaining efficient and safe public infrastructure.
