The Southern Colorado Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers has developed a scholarship program to provide financial assistance to Junior and Senior Civil Engineering students at Colorado Universities.

The Civil Engineering Scholarship is endowed by gifts from the civil engineering community throughout southern Colorado. The scholarship has been set up for Junior and Senior Civil Engineering students from the southern Colorado region who have an interest in coming back to the region to work after graduation. The scholarship was officially established by action of the ASCE Southern Colorado Branch Board of Directors in September 2006 (Please see downloadable eligibility and application guidelines below).

The program is also supported by our Annual Golf Tournament which was held on September 8, 2008. Thanks to everyone who made it a huge success! Next year's tournament will be held on August 10, 2009 at the Flying Horse Golf Course.

The scholarship will be awarded in May 2009 for the Fall 2009 semester. The application form will be made available on-line and through the respective university scholarship program offices by February 15, 2009, or click here for a copy.

The current eligible universities include:

  • Colorado School of Mines
  • Colorado State University
  • University of Colorado-Boulder
